Junior Church

a. Children are a blessing from the Lord, and they have a unique ability to understand more then we give them credit for. We are pleased to say we have and ever growing children and youth ministry with a desire to see even more growth. On Sunday mornings our children start with us in our main service and are dismissed to our fellowship hall for age appropriate teaching and time of fun in our junior church service (ages newborn-12). We strive to make sure our children are safe an secure, so all volunteers have had the appropriate background checks and approval. We hope to see you kids in Junior Church soon.

Bible Study

We believe that a sign of a healthy Spirit filled life is a desire to learn more and more from God’s Word as often as we can.  It is our joy to offer a weekly Bible Study for Adults to come and learn. Lead by one of our deacons we currently meet Wednesday nights from 7pm-8pm.   We would love to see you join us.

Seminars

For those who look to have a in depth understanding of the Bible, First Baptist Church Ulysses offers periodic seminars on a range of topics.  From practical to theological in nature each of these seminars is designed to give all in attendance tools to help them in daily life.  Keep an eye out in our Sunday Morning bulletins and flyers around town for upcoming seminars.  To sign up contact Pastor Matt so that resources can be purchased and printed for your benefit.

Music

All men were created to worship God! One of man unique ways that we can do this is through the outlet of music.  We are constantly looking for more people to join our choir which meets to practice on Wednesday evenings from 6pm-7pm.  We also have a bell choir that performs at our service periodically.  We are always looking for more musically gifted people to join us.  If you sing or play an instrument and would like to use the gifts God has given you to worship Him, contact Pastor Matt to get connected.
