Meet The Pastor

Matt has been serving as the fulltime pastor of First Baptist Church Ulysses since January of 2024.  Matt felt a call to ministry in 2013 and has been serving in various capacities in churches in Florida and now here since that then.  Matt has been married to his wife Sabrina since 2016  and they have two children, Cullen (5yrs) and Leeland (3yrs).  He spends most of his spare time relaxing with his family and friends.  He enjoys fishing, baseball, football, disc golf and coaching Cullen’s tee ball team.  Before pastoring he has a background in service work, fixing broken swimming pools, HVAC, and glass welding.  Matt loves to connect with new people so don’t hesitate to reach out!
